Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the web hosting services provided by PHPHoster ("we", "us"). By registering an account you agree to them.

1. Account registration and review

Registration is free and does not create a binding contract for paid service. Every new account is manually reviewed before activation. We aim to complete reviews within 30 minutes during working hours, but this is a target and not a guarantee.

We may decline any registration at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, abuse, or use that would harm other customers on shared infrastructure.

2. Service description

We provide shared web hosting on cPanel with NVMe SSD storage, LiteSpeed web server, free SSL certificates and daily backups, according to the plan you select.

"Unlimited bandwidth" means we do not meter data transfer for normal website use. It is subject to the fair use provisions in section 4.

3. Payment

• Nothing is charged during registration or review. Payment is requested only once your account is approved and ready.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees, billed monthly, and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Plans renew at the same price you signed up at, unless we notify you at least 30 days in advance.

4. Fair use and acceptable use

Shared hosting is designed for websites, not for bulk storage or continuous heavy processing. You agree not to use the service for:

• Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
• Hosting malware, phishing pages or content that infringes copyright
• File-sharing archives, backup dumps or media libraries unrelated to a hosted website
• Cryptocurrency mining, proxies, or sustained processes that degrade the shared server
• Any content unlawful under Indian law

If your account consistently consumes resources that affect other customers, we will contact you to arrange an upgrade before taking any action.

5. Backups

We take daily backups as a courtesy and restore them on a best-effort basis. You remain responsible for keeping your own copies of your data.

6. Uptime

We target 99.9% network uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance, which we announce in advance where possible.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account for non-payment or for breach of section 4. Where practical we give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue first. You may cancel at any time.

8. Liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
